PartialThe source says it only partly worked, or had a significant problem a person had to deal with.
What went wrong: The forms were filled correctly but used a whole plan's usage window.
Outcome
Evan Solomon asked Claude in Chrome to fill out three web onboarding forms using information scattered across their Google Drive. It worked very well: it read the pages, found the information in Drive, filled the fields and handled multi-step forms with almost no hand-holding. But it took 574 model round-trips and about 223M tokens, roughly $350-400 in API-equivalent compute, and used up the Max plan's 5-hour window in one session. Solomon notes it was slow, got slower and pricier as the session grew, and that running it on the top model was a mistake for form-filling.

Prompt Recreated prompt
The source didn't share its exact prompt, so we wrote this from what it describes.
Run this task now, exactly as written below. Everything you need is here, so start straight away and only stop if something required is missing or a rule below tells you to. Goal: Fill in these online forms using information from my files, without wasting time or usage. Fill in before running: - Links to the forms: [LINKS] - Where the information is (folders or file names): [DETAILS] Rules: - First gather all the answers from my files into one list and show it to me, so you don't search again for every field. - Then fill one form at a time from that list. - Stop and ask if a field needs something you can't find. - Don't submit any form until I've checked it. - If a site asks me to sign in, pause and let me do it myself (including any CAPTCHA or two-step code); never guess or store passwords. - Check facts that can change (prices, opening hours, dates, availability, rules) against the official source, and tell me anything you couldn't verify. Output: Filled forms ready for review, and a list of any fields left blank. You'll know it worked when: the forms are done in one short session.

2 blanks are still empty: Links to the forms; Where the information is (folders or file names). They'll stay in brackets in your prompt, so the chat tool may ask you about them.
What you type stays in this browser tab. We don't send it or save it, and it's gone when you leave the page. If you use a "Try this in" button, your answers go to that tool as part of the prompt.

This prompt has blanks to fill in, like [LINKS]. We'll copy it instead of filling it in, so you can edit it before you send.
The source used Claude in Chrome, which can take actions in a browser or app. These are general chat tools, so results may differ, and a normal chat may only give you a plan.
